Then Trout Lake, the north end shoreline. Fish all along the way, also wanting muddlers.
In the evening, to top it all off, Brown Drakes are popping. The fish are on them, and they'll take a brown muddler. Five fish come out of this hole as fast as you can get the fly back under the tree.
It just gets better and better.

ReplyDeleteBetter and better is good. The second picture looks just like a little place around here called Mather Lake. Almost impossible to fish it when it gets like that.
