Spring Is Near

The local paper on Monday:

Wind chill prompts weather warning

 — Due to expected frigid temperatures, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook extending through Sunday.
According to meteorologists, some of the coldest weather of the winter will settle over North-Central Washington beginning tomorrow.
"Increasing north winds will develop Tuesday," the Weather Service reported. "By Wednesday, wind chills of minus 5 to minus 15 will be possible.
Frigid temperatures are expected to affect the Okanogan Valley floor, as well as the North Cascades, Okanogan Highlands, the Waterville Plateau and Grand Coulee area.
"Expect temperatures to be 20 to 30 degrees below average," the service reported.
