Heading to the Mountains

I'm heading to the mountains for the weekend, where the sun alternately shades and gilds the swift pools of the  stream...

And illuminates the colors of the wild trout.

I hope to see those things, though the weather is to be cool with a chance of mountain showers and thunderstorms. We got a taste of that today in the valley with roving showers and thunder rumbling along the ridge lines.

But the sun knows how to make the best of that, too.
