Had a chance to get back to Trout Lake Saturday evening. Took it. Breezy. Trolled out; as soon as line straightened out had a fish on. Then another. Wind died. Tied on a Grannom caddis just for the hell of it. Fish liked it. Things slowed. Saw some ants on the water, black with amber wings. Had no pattern for them. Tried a black mayfly; no luck. Closed out the day trolling, caught one more for good measure. Took a chance; glad I did.
