The First Day...

The first day of the rest of this old world's life was a good one. I puttered at the vise for awhile this afternoon, thinking of those Trout Lake trout.

I'm glad I'm still here, that the beautiful world and its beautiful trout are still here, and that there are still many good days of fishing ahead.

  1. Very nice sparkling morsels for those trout to snack on.

  3. Thanks, Year on the Fly, I appreciate your artistic appraisal. And, yes, sometimes I just feel all sparkly.
Thanks, e.m.b. It might could even catch a bass. BTW, I think "The Great Gonzo" is a great name for a fly. Better tie up a few more of those.

  4. Jim - Thanks. :) I think I can remember the first Gonzo well enough...I'll have to give it a go! He proved his salt!
