Remember that game, "Button, button, who's got the button?" When you got close to the hidden button everyone shouted, "You're hot!" And, of course, when you were wandering far afield, the shout was, "You're cold!"
Today at the river I was cold.
By a fine coincidence, I was also cold. Low forties with just enough breeze to cut a bit, and numb wet hands. The river temp was probably in the low forties, too, if not colder, so my feet were also numb after a couple of hours in the water.
But that's the game, and it was good to wade out there and play again.
