First snow came last night. Winter's here a month early.
Today is cold and a cutting wind is whipping out of the north.
Yeah, I know, I talk big about fishing in this weather. But I'm not stupid. There comes a time when the question of whether to fish or not becomes a question not just of convenience or comfort, but of survival.
Think I'll leave the wading boots frozen to the truck bed for awhile longer. I've got a fire to make.
