Three Feet Just Shy and Risin'

Steelheading on the local river has been a bust this winter, with a November freeze, a December freeze, and high water ever since. Spring runoff usually peaks in June, but maybe, with a 70% snowpack and an early spring, it will come early, too. So it's possible that as soon as June the river will be fishable again--for smallmouth.

So I've been catching steelhead online. This is a nice one...
