Bighorn River Tricos
Little bug. Big fun.
Bighorn River Tricos from Bighorn Trout Shop on Vimeo.
Fly fishing on Montana's world famous Bighorn River. This footage was taken during the trico mayfly spinner fall in August of 2016. Tricorythodes are a species of mayfly that hatch in great numbers during late summer and fall on the Bighorn River. These tiny insects bring pods of fish to the surface and provide superb dry fly fishing opportunities. Anglers come from all over the world to experience this hatch.

The Scandinavian Way
It's not the easy way; it's the Scandinavian way.
The Scandinavian Way from Inwaders Media on Vimeo.
Two Europeans set out to teach the American flyfisher Simon how to fish "the Scandinavian Way". Somehow Toby from Little Britain gets tangled into this mess... and what a mess it is!

The pay off
Deep green dreams of summer...
The pay off from FRENZY on Vimeo.
This spring we have been spending a lot of time walking rivers and small streams totally unknown to us to find a river not crowded with people.
most of them turns out to be not as interesting as what they looks like on the map.
We gave this one a second chance and it was well payed off.

Blue Halo Unicorns
What the word "gorgeous" was invented for...
Blue Halo Unicorns from Blue Halo on Vimeo.
Some people may think that Dolly Varden are undesirable, but we set out to find some of the largest most beautiful 'char' in existence. Breath taking views and gin clear water, we found what we were looking for, but it wasn't easy. Getting dropped off by bush plane to float miles of river in search of these beauties was an experience in and of itself.

Trout Season
Trout Season from Sage Fly Fish on Vimeo.
Something about the landscape always tells you when trout are near… in places where water, earth, and insects come together to form ideal fish habitats. Creek, stream, or lake, classic trout waters speak to you in a language all their own…

Welcome to ICELAND -- Full Film
Block out 20 minutes this weekend and take a trip to Iceland.
"Welcome to Iceland" Full Film from BrothersOnTheFly on Vimeo.
After a lot of thinking, we decided to release the full "Welcome to Iceland" Film for totally free, despite having invested a lot of money and time in the project.
All we ask is that you tell us what you think in the comments and if you liked it, Share!!!
Coming from a country where Catch and Release is still officially prohibited, two brothers went to Iceland to find out about the state of conservation in a country where fish and free flowing rivers are still abundant, and they came across interesting people along the way.

High Country | Long Wands from Tom Clancy on Vimeo.
Spending the Australian 2016 Easter long weekend in Armidale, NSW and surrounds in search of trout and natives on fly. Three separate and distinct river systems were explored with over 60km of hiking over the four days. This is just a snapshot of the awesome fishing we experienced - we hope you enjoy!
