We've had a spell of Fall weather: cool temperatures and rainstorms. The air is clean and fragrant.
The other evening we drove through a storm south along our river to where it joins the mighty Columbia.
It was gorgeous.
But there is a cost. Today our river is high enough to make wading an adventure. But then again, this is the time of year we look forward to freshening rains and moving Steelhead.
Time to be looking for that perfect convergence of new fish and dropping levels--and that miraculous tug.
Nothing like a fall day and the smell of fresh rain. We could sure use some of that wet stuff here around home.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any rain, but we sure have the "fragrant" part.
